Noorka Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented Storekeeper in Dubai to manage our inventory and ensure smooth warehouse operations. This role is vital to maintaining accurate stock levels, optimizing storage, and supporting our team’s logistics and distribution functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, monitor inventory, and ensure timely restocking.
- Receiving and Inspection: Oversee the receiving process, inspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy, and record discrepancies.
- Storage Organization: Arrange and label products in the warehouse for easy identification, ensuring efficient use of space.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare and process orders, including picking, packing, and coordinating with dispatch for timely distribution.
- Stock Control and Audits: Perform regular stock counts and audits to maintain accurate records and identify any discrepancies.
- Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed records of all transactions, updates, and adjustments in inventory software, providing reports as needed.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, and housekeeping standards within the warehouse, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all warehouse equipment is well-maintained and report any issues promptly.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a storekeeper, inventory clerk, or in a related role.
- Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
