Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve IT system failures, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintain and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and networking devices.
- Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and security software.
- Monitor system performance and implement preventive measures to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors for procurement and troubleshooting of IT equipment and services.
- Ensure data security by performing regular backups and updates.
- Document IT processes, troubleshooting procedures, and user guides.
- Assist in IT asset management, inventory tracking, and procurement planning.
- Stay updated with emerging IT technologies and recommend upgrades or solutions to enhance business operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role, preferably in the logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems, networking protocols, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cloud services, VPNs, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Proficient in hardware diagnostics and software installation.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or similar are a plus.
