Noorka Logistics is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support its warehouse, loading, unloading, and logistics operations in Dubai. The successful candidate will operate forklifts safely, move materials efficiently, assist with loading and unloading vehicles, and ensure goods are stored correctly without damage. The role requires practical forklift operating experience, good safety awareness, physical fitness, and a responsible approach to warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and designated loading areas.
- Move cartons, pallets, equipment, and other materials within the warehouse.
- Transport materials between receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch areas.
- Stack and arrange goods safely in designated warehouse locations.
- Ensure materials are positioned securely to prevent damage or accidents.
- Follow warehouse procedures for handling, storing, and moving goods.
- Inspect the forklift before each shift and report mechanical or safety issues.
- Maintain awareness of load capacity and safe operating limits.
- Handle fragile, heavy, and valuable goods with appropriate care.
- Assist warehouse staff with loading, picking, packing, and dispatch activities when required.
- Verify labels and ensure the correct goods are moved to the required locations.
- Support inventory activities by moving and positioning stock for counting.
- Keep loading bays, warehouse aisles, and work areas clear and safe.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Report damaged goods, spills, equipment problems, and workplace hazards immediately.
- Coordinate with warehouse supervisors, storekeepers, drivers, and logistics staff.
- Maintain basic records of equipment checks and material movements when required.
- Use the forklift responsibly to minimize damage to products, racks, vehicles, and facilities.
- Assist with other warehouse and logistics duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse, logistics, freight, or transportation environment.
- Valid forklift operating certification or authorization as required by applicable UAE regulations.
- Practical knowledge of forklift operation and warehouse material handling.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and position different types of loads.
- Physically fit and capable of working in a busy warehouse environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and operational procedures carefully.
- Basic communication and reading skills.
- Good awareness of surroundings and workplace hazards.
