Noorka Logistics is seeking a technically skilled and dependable IT Engineer to support its technology infrastructure and day-to-day IT operations in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining computer systems, networks, hardware, software, and user access while responding to technical issues across the organization. Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a practical approach to IT support are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, and network environment.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
- Provide technical support to employees and assist with day-to-day IT requests.
- Configure and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, email accounts, and system credentials.
- Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, and other business applications.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential technical issues before they affect operations.
- Perform software installations, updates, security patches, and routine maintenance.
- Maintain IT asset registers, equipment records, software licenses, and technical documentation.
- Assist with data backup, recovery, and basic disaster recovery procedures.
- Implement and follow company IT security and cybersecurity practices.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and internet-related problems.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when specialized support is required.
- Document technical problems, solutions, maintenance activities, and support requests.
- Assist with IT infrastructure upgrades, installations, and technology-related projects.
- Provide basic technical guidance to employees on secure and effective use of company systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience as an IT Engineer, IT Support Engineer, Network Engineer, or similar position is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good understanding of computer hardware, networking, TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, email systems, and user account administration.
- Knowledge of IT security, antivirus solutions, system updates, and data backup procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize technical issues and meet support requirements.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with different departments.
