Noorka Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This role is suitable for a finance professional with strong accounting knowledge, numerical ability, and attention to detail. The successful candidate will manage financial records, support reporting activities, and help ensure accurate and efficient financial operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain daily financial transactions accurately in accounting systems.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting financial documentation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables.
- Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial planning.
- Prepare and maintain VAT-related documentation in accordance with UAE requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate records and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and administration teams regarding invoices and payments.
- Ensure financial information is kept confidential and properly organized.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and financial compliance is an advantage.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
